Unfortunately neither of these games will work on Xbox One as they are not backwards compatible.
No.
No.
No. It has just been rebranded as Xbox Game Pass Core. The only thing that has been discontinued is the monthly Games with Gold.
If its still on the loading screen an hour later, close out of it or restart your console and try again in a bit.
Thats cool, did you get it from Design Lab? What does it look like?
Go on to YouTube and look up a tutorial. You will most likely have to open the controller up and clean the thumbsticks and if that doesn't work you will have to replace the entire thumbstick module or just get a new controller.
You can play a lot of original Xbox and Xbox 360 games on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S that aren't on Steam or any other platform. There aren't many new Xbox exclusives that aren't on Steam as every Xbox exclusive is also released on PC now. There a few Kinect games, Halo 5, Rare Replay, that Space Jam game and some others that aren't on steam that you can only play on Xbox.
Both consoles were originally the same price when they launched. However, last year Sony decided to increase the price of the PS5 due to a number of reasons (see link below if you want to know more). Many were wondering if the Xbox Series X would go up in price too but Microsoft decided not to increase it, which is why the PS5 is now more expensive than the Series X.

Buy a new cord.
You can purchase an unlicensed adapter for the Xbox 360 that lets you use original Xbox controllers with the 360. Other than this there is no official way to use original Xbox controllers on the Xbox 360.
The cable that connects the external drive to your console may be damaged or not plugged in correctly, causing it to think it is being unplugged and plugged back in which is why you are getting this notification pop up so many times.
The whole article on the Xbox 360 Dashboard should be broken up into the different versions that there have been. That page is a mess...
The red lights on the console were used to display different errors like in the image above to make it easier for people to figure out what was wrong with their console. They didn’t spend a billion dollars just fixing some red lights, that money was spent on fixing the hardware failure problems that would display these lights that were only used as an indicator of what was wrong.
@TheOneShotFerran The Xbox One only required a constant internet connection when it launched, this was fixed in an update not long after the console launched. Pretty much all of the Kinect functionality has been removed from the console, with it only being used for certain games now. Used games can also be played on Xbox One, at launch you couldn't but this was fixed in an update.
All of the reasons you listed were only problems when the console launched and have now been fixed.
