Halo: Spartan Assault is a top-down twin stick shooter video game released in 2013 for Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 platforms. The game was also released some months later, for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, Steam and iOS platforms. The game was developed by 343 Industries and Vanguard Games.
Halo: Spartan Assault was the first Halo game released for mobile devices. A second mobile game was released two years later under the name Halo: Spartan Strike.
