Microsoft Studios is a video game production division of Microsoft Corporation. They are responsible gor the develpment and publishing of video games for Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Games for Windows and Windows Phone platforms. They were establish in 2002 under the name of Microsoft Game Studios however, in 2011 they were re-branded and their name had been changed to simply Microsoft Studios. They work with third-party companies and other development studios to help devlop and publish video games under their label, such as Minecraft, the Halo series, Kinect Sports, Microsoft flight simulator, both the Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon series and the Gears of War games.
