• The Xbox and Xbox 360 articles were taken from www.wikipedia.org, and this wiki has no claim over them. The articles will stay for a few days while other articles are written to replace them, for the Xbox wiki.

Just a note: Wikipedia and Wikia both operate under the GFDL (GNU Free Documentation License) which allow free use, modification, and distriubtion of the content (requiring only that the content remain in the GFDL and that the appropriate source/credit is given). So, there is no legal reason not to use the content. However, you probably want to at least modify the content of the articles significantly. Most obviously would be removing red links to articles unlikely to exist on this wiki, such as dates and places. Secondary to that would be to remove sections that would be covered in other articles and expand sections Wikipedia wouldn't necessarily include in its own article. But, it is intuitive to reason that keeping an exact copy serves little purpose. --Splarka (talk) 09:48, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
